  • HOW DOES BUYOUROBOT WORK ?

    Buyourobot offers high-quality licensed 3d renders, videos and models that you can incorporate into your work. You can choose one of our licenses ( single standard or single enhanced (as for images)) for your needs. Once you have downloaded an image / video  / model – you may use it forever.  We also provide custom pricing for multi-user accounts and special licensing for print runs exceeding 250,000, and merchandise and media uses.

  • WHAT IS STOCK ?

    Stock image / model / video is existing artwork that can be used for print and web ads, in books and magazines, in news, on websites, in brochures and packaging, 3d printing, games, VR industry and in a large number of custom applications, according to the licensing terms to which the designer and buyer have agreed.

    Using an image and model that already exists saves the purchaser the time and expense of a custom photo shoot or design work.

  • CAN I SELL TEMPLATES THAT INCLUDE YOUR IMAGES?

    You cannot sell templates under our Standard license but we do allow it under our Enhanced license.

  • CAN I SELL THE IMAGES THAT I DOWNLOAD ?

    You may not sell the images that you download from Buyourobot. You can use them in design elements, but not offer them for resale or distribution.

  • WHAT SIZES DO YOUR IMAGES COME IN ?

    Our image sizes come in Small, Medium, Large, and Extralarge.  Each image has resolution information behind the chosen image.

  • WHAT DOES 'ROYALTY-FREE' MEAN ?

    Royalty-free” is a type of a stock photo license that provides for the unlimited use of an image in any media defined in the licensing terms.

    “Royalty-free” is the opposite of “rights-managed.” A rights-managed image needs a specific license stating the audience and material surrounding the image.

    All the images on Buyourobot are royalty-free and do not require an individual license. All images are bound by one or both of the two types of licensing agreements.

  • WHAT IS A TIFF ?

    A TIFF is an uncompressed file format that is available to our Standard and Enhanced Licenses. Our TIFF files are not converted from the JPEGs . All images have lossless TIFF file format from the beginning.

    That means: no compression! We use the TIFF and PNG formats zipped to store images in our database.

  • WHERE CAN I USE BUYOUROBOT IMAGES ?

    According to our Licensing Terms you may use the images in

    • Web sites
    • Multimedia presentations
    • Displays for trade shows
    • Billboards/banners
    • Packaging/labels
    • Broadcast video
    • On business letterhead
    • Brochures
    • Business cards
    • Office decoration
    • Decoration for restaurants
    • Public areas
    • Decoration in stores
    • And many other uses outlined in our Standard and Enhanced Licensing Terms
  • CAN I USE IMAGES THAT I DOWNLOAD IN FREELANCE WORK ?

    Yes! You can use any image from Buyourobot for a customer/client project. Please indicate to your client that they do not own and do not have the rights to sell the individual images.

  • IF I MODIFY AN IMAGE, CAN I CLAIM COPYRIGHT TO THAT IMAGE ?

    You may modify an image and use it; however, you may not claim copyright to that image. Buyourobot and its supplier continue to own all images, whether or not they have been modified.
  • HOW DOES YOUR LICENSING WORK ?

    All images are royalty-free. Detailed information can be found on our terms & conditions page.

  • DOES THE IMAGE I DOWNLOAD HAVE A WATERMARK ON IT ?

    Downloaded Images  will not be watermarked.

  • DOES MY BROWSER NEED TO BE ABLE TO ACCEPT COOKIES ?

    Buyourobot uses cookies to hold your username and/or password. No credit card or purchasing data is stored in the cookie. Also, no personal information is stored in any Buyourobot.com cookie.

  • CAN I SHARE USERNAME/PASSWORD WITH FRIENDS/COLLEAGUES ?

    No. According to our Terms and Conditions only one user is allowed to use your account. Please contact support if you have an interest in Multi-User licenses.

  • WHAT BROWSERS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS WEBSITE ?

    Buyourobot is compatible with Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Opera on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.

  • HOW DO YOU PROTECT MY PAYMENT INFORMATION ?

    All of your payment information is not stored on buyourobot.com. It is processed outside within secure servers of Paypal and 2Checkout.

  • WHAT IF I FORGOT MY USERNAME OR PASSWORD ?

    No problem. Just visit the Forgot your password link to set new password

  • CAN I DOWNLOAD THE SAME IMAGE MORE THAN ONCE ?

    Buyourobot does allow a re-download of image. You can access images you have already downloaded as long as your account is active.
    Downloading the same image more than once will not count as purchase. You can download the same image several times but Buyourobot will only count it once.

    Re-downloads for Enhanced License plans will also be available forever.

  • WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY ?

    Since you may view our actual images and the image size information upfront, we regret that we cannot provide refunds.
  • WHICH CURRENCY DO YOU CHARGE IN ?

    We charge either in USD, or in the official currency of your home country. The actual conversion to your local currency is done by your credit card company at the moment of the purchase, based on our fixed USD price. Any charge beyond this conversion rate is a surcharge added by your credit card company for the conversion.

Didn’t get what you needed? We’ll make it right and maybe that’s a technical fix for a model, image or video, a refund, or store credit to exchange for something else. Contact our support through contact page within 30 days of your purchase, and let us know your deadline and what you need. As a guideline, this is how we generally approach things:

We’ll help you to find a suitable replacement and test it for you.

  • We’ll grant a full refund:

    • If your purchase is broken or misrepresented
    • If you did not download your purchase
  • We’ll give you store credit:

    • If a model is not faulty but you realize it won’t work for your needs
    • If you accidentally purchase the wrong model and downloaded it

Please note: Buyourobot reserves the right to limit or decline returns or store credit for items that are not faulty or items that were purchased more than 30 days prior to the refund request.
